Free Paris Trip Planner: Plan Your Paris Trip in Minutes

Updated on 26 July 2026

One of the most common things people say before visiting Paris is that they donโ€™t know where to start. There are too many lists, too many opinions, and no obvious way to connect the sights they want to see with the days they actually have available.

We built the Paris For You trip planner to fix exactly that. Itโ€™s a free tool on the website that takes about a minute to fill in and returns a practical day-by-day Paris itinerary based on your answers. No account needed, no email required.

You can try it here

Who Is It For?

The planner works best for people who are in the early stages of planning and need a starting point rather than a finished plan. If youโ€™re still figuring out how many days to spend in Paris, what kind of trip you want, or how to structure your days, it gives you a clear first draft to work from.

It also works well for return visitors who want to approach their trip differently this time โ€” you can specify your interests and pace, and the plan reflects that rather than defaulting to the standard first-timer route.

If you already have a detailed itinerary and are mainly looking for offline navigation and attraction guides during the trip, the Paris For You app is the better tool for that stage.

How It Works

The planner asks five short questions:

How many days do you have?  Choose anywhere from one to five days. The structure of the plan adjusts accordingly.

What are you most interested in?  You pick from options such as art and museums, local neighborhoods, history, photography, and free things to do. This shapes which places get included and in what order.

What pace do you prefer?  A packed day with several stops, or a slower approach with more time in each place. The plan reflects your preference.

Whatโ€™s your travel style?  First-time visitor, independent explorer, traveling with children, or a couple of other options. This affects how the plan is framed and what kind of practical advice it includes.

Any must-see places?  You can add up to three specific places you definitely want to include. The planner works them into the schedule.

Once you submit, the planner generates a day-by-day itinerary with morning, afternoon and evening suggestions, practical notes, and a recommendation for which Paris For You map suits your trip best.

What You Get at the End

The result is a structured starting point, not a fixed schedule. Itโ€™s designed to give you a realistic sense of what fits into your days and how to connect the places you want to see โ€” not to plan every hour in advance.

At the end of the plan, youโ€™ll also get a suggestion for the most relevant Paris For You map based on your answers: the main Paris For You map for general exploration, the Paris for FREE map if budget travel is a priority, or the Paris Top Insta Spots map if photography and visual places are what youโ€™re after.

The planner doesnโ€™t book anything or require any payment. Itโ€™s a thinking tool for the planning stage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it free?

Yes, completely free. No account, no email address, no payment required.

How many days can I plan?

Between one and five days.

Can I save or download my itinerary?

The planner doesnโ€™t save plans. Copy the text or take a screenshot to keep your itinerary.

Does it work for specific travel interests?

Yes โ€” the questions are designed to pick up your priorities. An art-focused trip looks different from a neighborhood-focused or photography-focused trip, and the plan reflects that.

Is this the same as the Paris For You app?

No โ€” they serve different purposes. The trip planner is a free web tool that helps you decide how to structure your days before you go. The Paris For You app is a separate product for use during the trip: offline maps, audio guides, and detailed content for 100+ Paris attractions in 26 languages.

What if I want to change the plan?

You can adjust your answers and run the planner again to try a different approach โ€” change your interests, pace or travel style and see how the plan changes.
